Job Description
Location: Remote with 75% travel to various plant sites
Duration: 6 months
Description:
- Maintain accurate records of all parts tools and supplies in the storeroom
- Monitor stock levels and initiate reorders to prevent shortages
- Perform regular inventory audits and address any discrepancies
- Ensure all stored items meet safety and compliance standards
- Update logs and track usage through electronic or manual systems
- Work closely with maintenance staff to ensure timely support and part availability
- Act as a liaison between the storeroom maintenance team and facility operations
- Mentor and train team members on storeroom best practices and procedures
- Proactively identify and solve issues to keep maintenance workflows efficient
- Continuously improve storeroom processes and inventory control methods
Requirements:
- Functional experience in a manufacturing plant or industrial facility
- Strong understanding of maintenance and facility operations
- Handson experience with inventory systems (manual and/or electronic)
- Excellent communication and team collaboration skills
- Selfstarter with a problemsolving mindset
- Experience mentoring and training team members
- Familiarity with safety and compliance standards in industrial settings
