About the Role
As Chief Technology Officer at Flightline you will be instrumental in shaping the companys technological direction and driving its product vision. In this key leadership role youll work closely with the CEO to develop our SaaS platform define strategic objectives and build a worldclass engineering team. Were looking for a dynamic leader with a passion for innovation and a proven track record of delivering impactful technologydriven solutions.
Areas of Responsibility
Collaborate closely with the CEO to architect our SaaS platform and set strategic goals for technology development.
Own the full lifecycle of development for early versions of the application.
Build and nurture a talented team of software and data engineers fostering a culture of collaboration innovation and continuous learning.
Prioritize the unique needs of investment professionals driving iterative development and delivering highimpact solutions tailored to their requirements.
Maintain a high standard of engineering excellence by establishing best practices conducting code reviews and ensuring robust documentation.
Qualifications
10 years of experience in software engineering with a focus on enterprise SaaS (financial technology experience a nicetohave).
Demonstrated success in taking a business from concept through launch and subsequent growth to a large user base.
Proven track record of recruiting developing and leading engineering teams and delivering successful software projects.
Strong technical background with expertise writing and deploying production code in common programming languages.
Experience with modern cloud architectures such as Google Cloud Computing (GCP) Microsoft Azure or Amazon Web Services (AWS).
Understanding of enterprisegrade data security and privacy principles including encryption data segregation and compliance with relevant regulations (e.g. GDPR SOC 2).
Experience applying machine learning or generative AI models in production with a focus on managing performance scalability and realtime integration in SaaS environments.
