Coperion is currently seeking a Mechanical Assembly Student Apprentice to support our location in Whitewater WI. The Operations Student Apprentice will support Operations by Learning multiple areas to support customer requirements. These duties will include reading drawings mechanical assembly/minor electrical wiring. We are a 5S location and maintain a very clean production floor with skilled people to work with and learn from!
Schedule: 1015 hours per week and can be flexible with student within MFG hours. (MFG hours are MTH 6AM 3PM Fri 6AM 12PM)
Responsibilities:
Support our lean manufacturing process with 5S
Adhere to ISO 9001 company standards work instructions and procedures
Show up with a willingness to learn
Follow instructions and details to the training/drawing requirements
Required Education/Experience/Skills:
High School Junior or Senior
Basic computer knowledge
Dependability a must
Enrolled in Tech Ed classes (Welding/Fabrication Maintenance Electronics etc.)
Currently maintaining a GPA of 2.5 or higher
