We are seeking a skilled and detailoriented Plant Room Technician to join our team at Swissotel Corniche Park Towers. As a Plant Room Technician you will be responsible for maintaining and optimizing the performance of various building systems ensuring efficient operations in our facilities.
- Checking the steam pressure and opening the steam line valve feeding the laundry.
- Attending the daily morning and afternoon briefings.
- Receiving the daily maintenance orders.
- Executing all maintenance points recording the time used and material on the order and return to control room in the same day.
- Any signs of defects in the mechanical equipments to be reported immediately to the Maintenance Supervisor.
- Any other job that could be requested by Maintenance engineer in the other systems you will have to execute it without any objection.
- Periodical checking of safety measures for boilers and other mechanical equipments with the concerned personnel.
- You will be part of the fire emergency team.
- Daily tour at least twice per shift to check all machines and the systems are in good condition and taking log sheets as per checklist.
- Daily checks on all Logbooks and sheets with investigation for any abnormalities.
- Followup on daily maintenance done and correct any defects.
- Checking the spare parts stock and making necessary recommendations to storekeeper with close follow up.
- Mechanical Electrical Lighting and Plumbing will be your responsibility and any spare parts and materials should be prepared and followed up by you.
- Monitor plant room systems water treatment and follow up with the outside company.
Qualifications :
- 12 years of experience in plant room operations or a related field
- Passionate about people and service orientated.
- Demonstrates organizational skills and high attention to detail.
- A high level of interpersonal skills with the ability to communicate with all levels of employees.
- Proven team working skills and ability to work effectively and contribute to a team.
- Multicultural awareness and ability to work with people from diverse cultures.
- Flexible and able to embrace and respond to change effectively.
- Ability to work independently with shift flexibility and has a good initiative in a dynamic environment.
