THE TYPE OF CANDIDATE WERE LOOKING FOR
- 2 years of experience in environmental site investigation remediation and/or geotechnical site investigation and assessment
- Bachelors degree in geology earth science or a closely related discipline
- Experience with drilling rigs in the field is preferred
- Reliable and selfmotivated
- Ability to lift/move up to 50 lbs.
- Ability to travel as needed
- Ability to wear Personal Protective Equipment (PPE)
- Ability to accept responsibility perform work accurately and communicate effectively
- Ability to pay attention stay organized and complete projects within given deadlines
- Ability to complete assigned tasks under stressful situations
- Ability to sit at a desk and monitor a computer screen for extended periods
YOUR DAYTODAY AS A STAFF GEOLOGIST
As the Staff Geologist at Condor Earth you venture into the field collecting data conducting environmental site assessments overseeing drilling programs and meticulously mapping job sites for various types of environmental projects. Each sample helps you support subsurface investigations while you assist in preparing detailed work plans and reports. While in the office your day is a blend of science and discovery where you collaborate with other geologists to craft proposals and cost estimates that ignite project momentum. Your writing skills shine as you create technical reports to discuss the findings of results of the collected data. Occasionally you communicate with clients and regulatory agencies forging connections that bolster your commitment to a safer cleaner environment making each day both fulfilling and impactful.
