Job Description
Join Our Team as a Service Dispatcher at Advantage Chevrolet Bridgeview!
Advantage Chevrolet Bridgeview is seeking a dedicated and organized Service Dispatcher to join our team. In this role youll be responsible for assigning tasks to technicians in a timely and efficient manner to optimize shop productivity. If you have a solid understanding of automotive services and possess excellent organizational skills we want to hear from you!
Preferred Schedule: Tuesday Saturday (Flexibility can be discussed)
What Were Looking For:
Automotive Knowledge: A basic understanding of automotive repair is essential. Previous experience as a service technician advisor or similar role is a huge plus.
Adaptability: Ability to handle multiple tasks and shifting priorities with strong communication skills to keep everything on track.
TechSavvy: Proficiency in computer systems is required. Familiarity with Auto Mate is a bonus as well as Chevrolet.
Key Responsibilities:
Efficient Work Dispatch: Assign work to technicians in a way that maximizes service shop productivity.
Monitor Workflow: Keep an eye on the shops productivity and adjust assignments as necessary throughout the day or week.
Professional Communication: Interact with customers service advisors and technicians professionally ensuring smooth operations.
Maintain Shop Safety & Cleanliness: Ensure the service shop is clean organized and follows safety protocols.
Manage Tools & Equipment: Monitor the condition and availability of necessary tools and equipment.
Training & Development: Participate in manufacturer and companyrequired training. Attend quarterly safety meetings.
Additional Support: Take on other duties as needed to ensure the department runs efficiently.
