Overview
The Syniti Engineer / Data Engineer plays a crucial role in the management integration and transformation of data to meet organizational needs. This position is vital in ensuring that data flow meets business requirements while preserving data quality. The individual in this role will work with analytical tools and technologies to facilitate datadriven decisionmaking. By leveraging the Syniti platform the Data Engineer will develop and maintain data processes that enhance enterprise operations. Additionally work will involve collaborating with various teams to understand data needs troubleshoot issues and implement innovative solutions. As data becomes an increasingly strategic asset for organizations the Syniti Engineer is expected to bring technical expertise creativity and critical thinking to help build a robust data ecosystem.
Skills:
8 plus years of IT Development experience
2 plus years of development experience in the areas of ETL/ Data Ingestion using tools like Datastage/ Informatica/ Talend.
Must have 3 plus years of development experience using Syniti tool. Hands on development experience for Data Profiling Data Quality SAP Entity / Object mapping and transformation is necessary.
2 plus years of experience in data profiling data quality and data governance is necessary. Resource need to work with Business SME and Business users for DQ business rules and DQ enrichment.
Must have good SAP ERP background. 2 plus years of SAP development experience using ABAP coding.
Must have good understanding of entity mapping from legacy ERP to SAP S3/ S4 HANA
Must have ability lead ETL development / Syniti development team
Excellent analytical and problemsolving skills.
Strong understanding of cloud computing concepts including IaaS PaaS and SaaS.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop maintain and optimize data integration processes using Syniti tools.
- Design and implement ETL workflows ensuring data accuracy and integrity.
- Collaborate with crossfunctional teams to gather and document data requirements.
- Analyze and troubleshoot data issues performing root cause analysis.
- Ensure compliance with data governance policies and best practices.
- Create data models and define data architecture to support business objectives.
- Monitor system performance and make necessary adjustments for optimization.
- Participate in data migration activities to ensure seamless transitions.
- Support data quality initiatives by establishing procedures for data validation.
- Contribute to data strategy discussions offering continuous improvement suggestions.
- Document data processes workflows and technical specifications.
- Assist with the deployment of data solutions in cloud environments.
- Train and support endusers on datarelated issues and solutions.
- Stay updated on emerging data technologies and industry trends.
- Work closely with data architects and analysts to align on data initiatives.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelors degree in Computer Science Information Technology or related field.
- Experience working with the Syniti platform or similar data management tools.
- Proficient in SQL and relational database management systems.
- Strong knowledge of ETL processes and data integration techniques.
- Handson experience with cloud services such as AWS Azure or Google Cloud.
- Proficiency in programming languages such as Python Java or Scala.
- Familiarity with data modeling concepts and frameworks.
- Solid understanding of data governance and data quality principles.
- Experience in agile development methodologies.
- Ability to analyze complex data sets and derive actionable insights.
- Excellent problemsolving and analytical skills.
- Strong communication and teamwork abilities.
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in data engineering or a related field.
- Certifications in data management or cloud technologies are a plus.
- A proactive attitude towards learning and adapting to new technologies.
- Experience with version control systems like Git.
