About the Role:
Join Midas MUELLER as a CST/EMISSION TESTER in Chicago IL where youll play a crucial role in ensuring vehicles meet environmental standards. Were looking for passionate individuals who thrive in a fastpaced environment and are committed to quality and compliance.
Responsibilities:
- Conduct comprehensive emissions testing on a variety of vehicles to ensure compliance with state and federal regulations.
- Utilize diagnostic equipment to identify and troubleshoot emissionsrelated issues.
- Document test results accurately and maintain detailed records of inspections.
- Provide recommendations for repairs and maintenance to improve vehicle emissions performance.
- Communicate effectively with customers regarding test results and required actions.
- Stay updated on industry regulations and best practices related to emissions testing.
- Collaborate with team members to maintain a safe and efficient testing environment.
- Assist in training new staff on emissions testing procedures and equipment usage.
Requirements:
- Valid CST certification and experience in emissions testing.
- Strong understanding of vehicle emissions systems and environmental regulations.
- Excellent attention to detail and strong analytical skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Effective communication skills to interact with customers and team members.
- Proficient in using diagnostic tools and testing equipment.
- High school diploma or equivalent; additional technical training is a plus.
- Strong commitment to safety and quality standards in all testing procedures.
