What youll do:

Western Alliance Bank is seeking passionate resultsdriven Full Stack Developer to deliver innovative industry leading solutions. We want a creative highly motivated developer lead who can take initiative have good sense of urgency and is comfortable working in a fast paced agile environment.

As a Staff Engineer II youll provide expertise in a suite of technical tools and products in a given domain to ensure solutions are safe secure compliant and reliable. Youll identify develop and support needs as well as taking on design responsibilities supporting project tasks. AS the Staff Engineer II youll facilitate dialogue and activities to ensure team collaboration including teams outside of your domain. Youll develop effective presentations and narratives for their teams.

• Works both independently and as part of a cohesive team to deliver innovative software solutions to customers and business partners.
• Analyzes business requirements and translates those requirements into tangible work tasks.
• Collaborates closely with peer developers QA testers and business partners to deliver highquality solutions in a timely manner.
• Architect design create and maintain the full stack (front end and back end) of customerfacing cloudbased applications.
• Develop front and backend website/app architecture.
• Ensure web products are responsive and optimized for a variety of devices such as lowend mobile phones desktop.
• Proactively identify and fix issues to improve backend service scalability resiliency and fault tolerance.
• Follow relevant company procedures and help create and maintain relevant documentation.
• Actively participate in all aspects of the software engineering process.
• Lead the strategic planning of a project as it relates to technical solution design.
• Design and implement engineering principles aimed at reliability practices and sound recovery procedures.
• Design transaction specific application performance monitoring metrics that can be captured and passed to business partners.
• Develop and maintain technical documentation including system configurations and procedures while also ensuring compliance with IT policies procedures and industry standards. Develop desktop procedures when needed that others follow.

What youll need:

• 7 years experience in analyzing designing and developing using Microsoft Technologies and .Net framework.
• 7 years FullStack development using Angular and .Net as Frontend and Backend technologies.
• Bachelors degree in related field required.
• Good to have experience working in other UI technologies like React Node JS Vue JS.
• Extensive experience with Web APIs to build Restful APIs.
• Good working experience in building applications using .Net MVC Entity Framework LINQ SQL Server JavaScript HTML and CSS.
• 5 years of experience with IaaS PaaS and SaaS resources in Azure or AWS cloud technologies.
• 5 years of solutioning and designing high available client facing production grade responsive applications.
• 5 years of experience using Git TFS/Azure DevOps for source control / project tracking / build management.
• 5 years of experience in Database using SQL Server.
• Must be selfmotivated and have strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Work in Scrum/Agile environment to plan and estimate the work at different levels.
• Advanced ability to see the big picture and align projects with organizational goals. Capable of leading and motivating crossfunctional teams. Expertise in resolving conflicts and addressing challenges as well as skilled at identifying and mitigating risks at the project level. Proficient in governance patterns tied to intake technical reviews and architectural compliance.
