Job Title: Sr. Director of Finance (CFO Path) Compensation:$200K $300K Company HQ: Washington DC
Directs the financial planning and analysis activities Cash Management and other compliance activities specific to the business. Lead FP&A activities while delivering a unique blend of financial and operational analysis financial modeling reporting and senior management support. Influence the direction of the company as a key member of the corporate financial leadership team and serve as key financial interface between FP&A finance and senior operational management as well as corporate management team.
What You Will Do:
Deliverfinancial and operational support including managing the annual budget process and forecasts.
Providedeep dive analytics and recommendations for the business around sales performance productivityheadcountand other key metrics.
Workwith business leadership onidentifyinggrowth opportunities future product development priorities andoverallgotomarket strategies.
Design and provide meaningful financial and operational metrics to enable insightful accurate business decisionmaking.
Partner at all levels with business units to enable data driven decision making byway of delivering valueadded consolidated and divisional business analyses.
Communicate business focused planning analysis and partnership providing a foundation for the development of a unified enterprisewide vision
Drive culture that embraces and promotes innovative business relevant thinking and decision making that accomplishes organizational goals.
Delivermonthly revenue reportingonKPIsoperationaldashboardskey business trendanalysis actual versus budget variances and comprehensive executive level explanations of differences.
Buildand overseea highperforming organization that has a comprehensive understanding of all key business drivers employs sophisticated financial models and delivers insightful observations and recommendations to drive performance and growth.
Developa thorough understanding oftheindustry business organizationprocessesand workflows to develop and enhance financial models andprovideabroad rangeof financial and operational support.
Driveand managead hoc special projects or analysis for strategic initiatives market expansion and potential commercial transactions or acquisitions
You Need to Have:
Bachelors degree in accounting finance economics or related field.
Advanced credentials such as a MBA CPA or CFA preferred.
A minimum of 10 years experience covering a broad range of accounting/financial analysis activities conducted at a high level of complexity including progressively more complex assignments or projects.
Strong executive presence interpersonal and political savvy with excellent communication relationship building and influencing skills.
Previousexperience in a Finance leadership role supporting a business unit and/or a full business unit P&L with exceptional leadership skills andpreviousexperience managing Finance professionals.
Strong knowledge of GAAP and various financial analysis tools such as discounted cash flows activitybased management and variance analysis strong project management skills
Ability to design analyze and improve planning process
Strong skills utilizing a large integrated ERP/MRP computer system (e.g. Oracle SAP JD Edwards).
Excellent analyticalproblemsolvingskills and deep experience in financial modeling planning reporting and analysis.
