What to expect.
This is an exciting opportunity for a compassionate and dedicated special education teacher. You will be responsible for providing specialized instruction support and accommodations to students with diverse learning needs and disabilities.
Specific responsibilities include:
- Creating a positive and inclusive learning environment where all students feel valued respected and supported in their academic and socialemotional development.
- Developing and implementing individualized education plans (IEP) for students with disabilities in collaboration with parents school administrators and support staff.
- Planning and implementing evidencebased instruction that meets the developmental emotional and behavioral needs and learning styles of the various student populations
- Differentiating instruction to meet unique academic socialemotional and behavioral needs of students with disabilities.
- Collaborating with the behavioral and clinical teams to develop and implement plans for students with behavioral needs.

What we need from you.
- Bachelors degree.
- Must have an MSDE educator license in special education or other content area as appropriate for the assignment OR be able to demonstrate eligibility to apply for licensure within 30 days of employment.
- 3 months of progressively more responsible work experience.
