Job Description

JOB TITLE: Area Sales Manager (ASM) Utah/Idaho

SUMMARY:

Aeroseal is looking for an Area Sales Manager as an individual contributor who will assist us in our mission by driving Aeroseals product adoption with home builders in the residential construction market in an assigned area/territory. This involves building and maintaining relationships with builders and energy raters using sales and marketing skills to promote Aeroseal products. A successful candidate will be a driven selfstarter with a hunter mentality confident in engaging in technical conversations and capable of building strong relationships with customers and influencers to grow and maintain the sales pipeline.

QUALIFICATIONS/REQUIREMENTS:

  • Sales Skills: Strong sales mentality understanding of the sales process and ability to influence stakeholders.
  • Relationship Building: Ability to build and maintain strong relationships at all levels of an organization.
  • Communication Skills: Strong verbal and written communication skills.
  • Technical Knowledge: Familiarity with building materials and construction processes.
  • Business Acumen: Understanding of business principles and sales strategies.
  • Product Knowledge: Indepth knowledge of Aeroseal products and their benefits.
  • Education & Experience: College degree preferred (sales marketing business). 7 years sales experience a plus.
  • Location: Candidate must reside in the sales territory.
  • Travel: Ability to travel within a defined territory.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Drive Market Adoption: Drive adoption of Aeroseals AeroBarrier Envelope Sealing (AeroBarrier) and Aeroseal Duct Sealing at residential new construction builders.
  • Sales Process: Understand and apply the sales process including lead generation qualification presentation negotiation and closing.
  • Customer Relationship Management: Establish cultivate and maintain strong relationships with existing and potential customers.
  • Sales and Marketing: Promote Aeroseal products services and technologies.
  • Market Intelligence: Gather and analyze market information to inform sales strategies and product offerings.
  • Technical Expertise: Be knowledgeable about Aeroseal products their benefits and competitive offerings.
  • Problem Solving: Address customer issues and concerns and develop solutions to ensure customer satisfaction.
  • Communication: Effectively communicate with customers peers and management.

The estimated base pay range for this role is $75000 to $120000. There is a separate commission plan for variable pay. Actual pay is based on various factors including but not limited to the successful candidates experience skills knowledge and job location. Please note that the compensation details listed in role postings reflect the base salary and do not include bonuses or benefits.
