  • Salary Range: USD $170000.00 USD $220000.00 /Year (Pay offered may vary depending on job related knowledge skills and experience.)

Your role will be pivotalin business and market development and project delivery leadership for Colorado offices in Denver Greenwood Village Loveland and Colorado Springs. Youll collaborate closely with other client geographiesincluding Idaho Texas and New Mexicoto provide innovative solutions to community infrastructure challenges in our watersheds. As part of our broader Infrastructure and Engineering team youll have the chance to work alongside our river engineering land development and public works infrastructure teams.

Our client is a midsized multidiscipline employeeowned consulting engineering firmthat prides itself on building deep relationships with its customers. Our growth in Colorado involves strengthening ties with internal and external customers establishing networked business partnerships and leading key resources to differentiate our services. Youll be supported by our team of over 120 water professionals at Merrick.

Location

  • Primary office can be in any of our Colorado locations including Denver Greenwood Village Loveland or Colorado Springs. Travel among the offices on a periodic basis would be expected.


WHAT YOULL DO

  • Supervise the Colorado water and wastewater team managing business development strategy and project assignments to attain highquality outcomes.
  • Mentor leaders and support staff to achieve career development quality and profitability goals.
  • Expand services by nurturing subpractices within the water practice expanding services to clients.
  • Build and oversee project teams for water and wastewater projects ensuring quality control for Colorado.
  • Organize the team for efficiency assigning the right professionals and ensuring standard contract documents and specifications are available. Handson participation is expected.
  • Collaborate with Business Unit management on growth staffing and financial performance.


REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS

  • Bachelors degree in civil engineering (A.B.E.T. Accredited School).
  • Twenty (20) plus years of experience in infrastructure engineering.
  • Colorado Professional Engineering (PE) success in Marketing and Business Development of professional engineering services in the Colorado area including five (5) years of successful experience in Business Development and Project Management for municipal projects.
  • Ability to direct manage and mentor a multidisciplinary team of design engineers and technicians and a proven track record of successful project delivery.
  • Strong technical design experience in water and wastewater projects.
  • High ethical standards and integrity.
  • Commitment to quality.
  • Strong interpersonal skills.
  • Must have a valid drivers license a good driving record and be insurable under Merricks insurance carrier.
  • Must be eligible to work in the United States without sponsorship.


DESIRED QUALIFICATIONS

  • Masters degree.
  • Experience in Colorado water and wastewater engineering.
  • PE Licensure in multiple states.
