Job Description

As an Outside Sales Representative you will be responsible for growing business through B2B distributor channels across Ontario and supporting them through occasional enduser visits and product education. The role is approximately 80% focused on distributor development and 20% cold outreach to end users (e.g. welding/fabrication shops). This position offers a base salary of $90000$110000 CAD (depending on experience) plus commission and along with other perks.

OFFICE LOCATION & SALES TERRITORY:

  • Head Office: Toronto ON
  • Primary Territory: GTA and Ontario focused for this role
  • Work Model: Fieldbased 4 days/week on the road 1 day working from home

EXPERIENCE BACKGROUND & EDUCATION REQUIREMENTS:

  • Minimum 5 years of B2B sales experience
  • Preferred: 35 years selling abrasives industrial consumables or MRO/safety products
  • Existing distributor relationships are a strong asset

  • Excel Basic

  • Decision Makers: Distributor sales reps branch managers enduser supervisors

  • Sales Cycle: 26 weeks
  • Account Size: Varies by distributor or enduser volume
  • Sales Style: 80% new business development 20% account growth
