The opportunity
ORDE was purpose built to lift specialist lending standards through technology; our business team has extensive experience leading and operating Australian specialist lending businesses. ORDE uses this experience to implement todays redefined digital technology capabilities unlocking improvements and delivering them where they matter most: our broker and borrower customers.
As a Product Owner you will play a key role in developing and adopting our Salesforce digital Platform throughout ORDE Financial working directly with the Director of Digital Change Manager Junior Product Owners and our technology delivery partners who will assist with providing technical support guidance and development across the project lifecycle.
We are seeking a talented and motivated Salesforce Product Owner to join our team. The Product Owner will be responsible for leading the development of innovative Salesforce solutions using both Agile and Human Centred Design methodologies. The ideal candidate will have a passion for delivering exceptional customer experiences and a deep understanding of the Salesforce platform.
Your key responsibilities will include:
- Define and prioritise product backlogs ensuring alignment with business goals and customer needs
- Lead the functional design of the proposed initiatives which includes the documentation of initiatives high level and detailed process flows Epics and user stories
- Develop product roadmaps for ORDE technology domains including 12month delivery plans and 3year product strategies.
- Build the commercial case for investment for major initiatives identify & assess the desirability feasibility & viability of work
- Apply risk management framework to design deliver and monitor solutions within ORDEs risk appetite
- Act as the primary point of contact for stakeholders including business leaders customers and development teams
- Collaborate and lead a crossfunctional team to gather requirements perform user research and validate solutions through prototyping and user testing.
- Facilitate Agile ceremonies including sprint planning sprint demos daily standups and retrospectives
- Work closely with development teams to ensure delivery of highquality customercentric solutions
- Ensure that product features are launched and adopted effectively measuring success and continuously improving
- Stay up to date on industry trends and emerging technologies making recommendations for continuous improvement.
- Accountable for the delivery squad delivering business value in each sprint including supervising test results.
- Direct people leader for junior product owners managing their daytoday tasks performance management and coaching.
- Work across product owner community to develop ORDE product owner capabilities across the digital team.
About you
- 5 years of experience in product ownership or related field and 3 years with Salesforce technology
- Strong understanding of Agile methodologies including Scrum and Kanban
- Experience with Human Centred Design practices including user research and prototyping.
- Strong business case skills and able to calculate return using discount cash flow methodology
- Proven track record of delivering successful Salesforce solutions
- Excellent communication collaboration and interpersonal skills
- Experienced people leader with track record of developing high performance teams and working with offshore developers/testers
- Strong problemsolving and analytical skills
- Salesforce Administrator certification is a plus
