We are seeking a highly organised and proactive Producing Team Administrator to join our dynamic Productions team. This role plays a vital part in supporting the planning and delivery of opera and special projects across venues such as the Sydney Opera House and Arts Centre Melbourne. Reporting to the Producer Opera Team the Producing Team Administrator ensures the smooth coordination of rehearsals production activities artist bookings and stakeholder communication.
This is an exciting opportunity to contribute to Opera Australias artistic excellence by supporting operational processes recordkeeping and production logistics behind the scenes of worldclass performances.
Key Responsibilities
Provide administrative support to the Opera Producing team including rehearsal and venue bookings meeting coordination minutetaking travel bookings processing invoices and credit card reconciliations.
Assist in artist bookings contracting and supporting the organisation of special functions and events.
Provide administrative support for auditions.
Maintain and update schedules records and contact lists to support efficient delivery of projects.
Coordinate the delivery of printed programs and cast sheets for all productions.
Format documents and create visual content using tools like Canva as required.
Assist with communications to external stakeholders venues and organisations for allocated projects.
Keep updated reporting records in coordination with the Development department.
Support Producers with project planning and daytoday logistics.
Carry out additional duties within the scope of the role as required.
