Join Our Team at ValleyWide Health Systems Inc.

We are seeking a dedicated and experienced SUD Manager to lead our SUD team and oversee the daytoday operations of our SUD Services program. This role includes clinical supervision program coordination and compliance responsibilities. The ideal candidate is a strong leader who can provide mentorship to staff ensure effective delivery of services and maintain high standards of care and documentation.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide leadership for the daytoday operations of the SUD Services program.
  • Supervise and support SUD providers and RAC staff including hiring onboarding scheduling training task assignment and performance management.
  • Facilitate program coordination using effective management and leadership techniques.
  • Support new staff in acclimating to the organization team and their roles.
  • Provide clinical supervision for assigned staff pursuing CAT or CAS credentials.
  • Offer clinical supervision to Recovery Assistance Counselors (RAC).
  • Review client intakes for accuracy and completeness.
  • Administer score and interpret screening tools to determine program eligibility.
  • Deliver brief counseling or psychotherapy services using evidencebased techniques across multiple settings.
  • Ensure all services and activities are documented in accordance with agency policies and procedures.
  • Complete accurate and timely reports for grants and required documentation including quarterly reports to the Office of Behavioral Health (OBH).
  • Participate in internal and external audits as required.
  • Lead or participate in assigned team meetings.

Qualification & Requirements:

  • Bachelors degree required
  • Minimum of 2 years of experience in substance use disorder (SUD) treatment
  • Strong communication analytical problemsolving and organizational skills
  • Ability to handle multiple priorities with strong attention to detail
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office programs including Excel
  • Experience with office equipment such as email systems fax machines and 10key calculators
  • Ability to work independently and within a team
  • Willingness to travel; valid Colorado drivers license required
  • BLS certification provided upon hire
  • Must pass a Behavioral Health background investigation
  • Experience in computerized systems especially accounting software preferred
  • Certified Addiction Specialist or preferably a Licensed Addiction Counselor (LAC)
