The Hiring Advisors is partnering with a growing Consumer Services company in the Santa Ana area to hire a Controller. The ideal candidate will have experience overseeing accounting operations implementing policies and managing a team.

Responsibilities:
- Oversee accounting for M&A activity AP/AR payroll and monthend close
- Lead the yearend audit process
- Work with other members of the team to ensure financial reporting is automated
- Ensure cash is managed appropriately with the proper internal controls in place
- Identify and implement process improvements to enhance the efficiency and effectiveness of the monthly quarterly and yearend close processes
- Reconcile and analyze GL accounts and bank statements
- Oversee monthly close process schedules journal entries and reconciliations
- Support team with key strategic initiatives
- Lead a broad range of adhoc projects focused on improving reporting quality
- Assist with the integration of acquisitions into the accounting and financial systems
Requirements:
- Bachelors degree in accounting finance or a related major
- 5 years of accounting experience
- 2 years of public accounting is a huge plus
- Proven track record of working in a servicebased industry (construction engineering services design services etc.)
- CPA license preferred
- Experience with Sage Intacct
- Strong accounting experience and demonstrated ability to lead / drive processes
This onsite opportunity in the Santa Ana area offers a base salary of up to $200k bonus and a full benefits package including a 401k. Reach out to to learn more.
