Description

QUALIFICATIONS

  • Education: High School Diploma or GED
  • Experience: 2 years of progressive experience in a community organization or agency
  • Madison County IL residency requirements must be met within 6 months of hire

EXAMPLES OF DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Conduct and document an objective and comprehensive assessment of needs and goals by interviewing and screening customers to determine level of services needed
  • Provides a timely and helpful response to customers assisting on individual basis with career services such as resume development interviewing search engines and labor market information.
  • Have a working knowledge of all one stop partner programs and community agencies ensuring customers understand programs and enrollment processes and provide guidance and conduct outreach when required
  • Understand the comprehensive services available under Workforce Innovation Opportunity Act (WIOA) Core Partners to ensure customers receive an equitable and optimized level of service delivery
  • Have understanding of relevant Federal and State laws regulations and policies regarding WIOA program eligibility and performance
  • Establish encourage and maintain strong relationships with core and required partners within WIOA workforce system
  • Participate in the partner referral process such as sending receiving and tracking referrals and services delivered by developing a timely reporting system to communicate outcomes to partners
  • Participate in WIOA professional development training One Stop Operations Committee and local staff meetings
  • Provide to customers a satisfaction survey and compile the results
  • Perform other duties as required or assigned which are reasonably within the scope of the duties enumerated above
