The Joint Office of the Secretary of Defense Interagency Division (JOID) provides expert support services to a range of customers spanning across the Department of Defense Federal Civilian and international markets. JOID provides a diverse portfolio of analytical and programmatic capabilities to help our customers make informed decisions on their most challenging issues.
The Critical Infrastructure Group (CIG) within JOID provides technical programmatic and analytical support to customers with missions in national security to include the Department of Homeland Security (DHS) Health and Human Services (HHS) and the Federal Aviation Administration (FAA). The Group brings technical and operational expertise in fields of countering weapons of mass destruction critical infrastructure protection emergency response nuclear nonproliferation weapons deployment programs and transportation safety. In addition to management and advisory services CIG staff collaborate closely with our clients to provide highquality modeling simulation software and analytical products to meet the most demanding government standards and timelines.
We have a nearterm need for an entrylevel Targeting Analyst to support intelligence and law enforcement operations. This position will be onsite at a government facility in Northern Virginia.
Conduct research and analysis of intelligence data to identify and assess potential targets. Assist with the development of targeting packages reports and briefings based on multisource intelligence. Utilize advanced analytical tools databases and methodologies to track and assess adversarial activities. Support intelligence collection management and prioritize collection requirements. Collaborate with intelligence community (IC) partners and law enforcement agencies to develop actionable intelligence. Provide analytical support to operational planning and execution. Help assess the credibility and reliability of intelligence sources. Assist with the identification of patterns trends and emerging threats that impact national security or mission objectives. Help prepare and deliver briefings reports and presentations to senior leadership and operational personnel. Maintain detailed documentation of analytical findings and assessments. Ensure intelligence products align with mission priorities and policy guidelines.
