Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Personal Lines Account Manager to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing a portfolio of personal insurance accounts providing excellent customer service and contributing to the growth and success of our agency.
Responsibilities
- Manage a portfolio of personal insurance accounts including handling renewals endorsements and policy changes
- Provide exceptional customer service to clients responding to inquiries and addressing their insurance needs
- Collaborate with insurance carriers to obtain quotes issue new policies and process claims
- Proactively identify opportunities for account rounding and crossselling additional insurance products
- Stay current on industry trends insurance products and underwriting guidelines
- Build and maintain strong relationships with clients carriers and team members
- Ensure compliance with industry regulations and company policies
- Contribute to the overall success of the agency by meeting or exceeding retention and growth goals
Qualifications/Requirements
- At least 12 years of previous independent agency experience required
- Strong understanding of personal insurance products coverages and underwriting
- Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to multitask prioritize and manage time effectively
- Detailoriented and organized with a strong customer focus
- Proficient in insurance agency management systems and Microsoft Office suite
- Holds an active P&C (Property and Casualty) License
