Job Description
Seeking a Machine Shop Associate to join our team. The position requires familiarity with machine shop environment and a willingness to learn. this person will primarily help in the general day to day functions of the shop. This position will cover general duties as well as the opportunity to work on the shop floor. Ideal candidate would have an mechanical background as well.
Job Functions:
Grinding
and organize raw material stock
material purchasing
material preparation for jobs
of goods and/or services from outside sources
Garbage Removal
and PickUps as needed
building maintenance (both inside and outside) as needed
Skills and Abilities:
School Diploma
in English language both verbal and written.
be a selfstarter and require minimal supervision.
have the ability to multitask
communicate and understand job instructions both verbally and written
to detail
to lift up to 65 lbs (at least 35 lbs on a regular basis)
to stand for extended times
as part of a team
