YOUR LIFE AS FRONT DESK CUSTOMER SERVICE ASSOCIATE

This position can expect a regular shift from 6:30 AM 2:30 PM with occasional weekends to fill in for requests and company events. This fulltime front desk position has occasional travel opportunities for community events in the summer and fall.

As a Front Desk Customer Service Associate you are the first person our clients see and your cheerful attitude sets the tone for a great animal care experience. As a dog lover you enjoy greeting each pet and walking them to the daycare or spa. Customers appreciate your excellent communication skills as you assist them in person and on the phone scheduling appointments answering inquiries and suggesting applicable services. You enjoy creating written report cards for pooches and presenting them to pet owners.

You efficiently prioritize multiple front desk tasks such as checking in clients coordinating requests with pet care staff and responding to emails. Youre comfortable using a computer and you access PetExec software to manage accounts and update records. Always organized you check the database daily for expiring vaccines and upcoming boarding reservations. Working closely with other animal care team members you make sure that everyone is on the same page at all times.

Youre familiar with the exceptional items we offer in our supply store and youre pleased to support our retail staff by helping customers find products theyll love. You competently manage sales and accurately handle currency.

Our team members appreciate how you keep the facility clean and the community storage area and feeding rooms properly stocked. You lend a helping hand by prepping pet meals and medications as needed. Pets customers and staff members are grateful for your efforts to ensure that every experience with Urban Pooch is a positive one. You love seeing our adorable furry clients and enjoy helping our human customers each day!

WHAT WE NEED FROM YOU

• High school diploma OR equivalent
• 1 year of customer service experience
• Experience with Microsoft Office and OS operating programs
• Ability to accurately handle currency
