The Senior Business Manager within the Justice Directorate is an exciting varied role which affords the opportunity to join one of the most highprofile and fastpaced areas of government at a critical time. The Business Support Unit sits at the heart of the Directorate and the Senior Business Manager will be a source of trusted support and advice to the Director and Senior Leadership Team and with staff at all levels across the Directorate.
Working as part of a small and highly skilled team the Senior Business Manager supports the Director of Justice to deliver the wide ranging and highprofile programme of Justice Directorate work and wider SG corporate functions. The range of responsibilities within the BSU brings lots of variety.
The Justice Directorate is also one of the most highprofile areas of government with Programme for Government and corporate priorities in a range of areas including transformation of the justice system tackling the prison population and modernising legal aid as well as legislation on improving support for victims and witnesses.
