Senior Lawyer M&A
Senior Lawyer M&A
This is an outstanding opportunity to work on sophisticated and highprofile transactions in an encouraging and innovative environment as a member of the Legal Division of the Euroclear group.
Key Responsibilities- Provide legal advice and support on all aspects of M&A transactions from initial structuring and negotiation to closing and postclosing integration.
- Draft review and negotiate a wide range of transactional documents including purchase agreements merger agreements and ancillary documents.
- Conduct due diligence investigations and prepare due diligence reports.
- Collaborate with other practice groups within the firm to provide comprehensive legal solutions to clients.
- Lead and mentor junior associates and support staff.
- Stay uptodate with relevant laws regulations and industry trends.
- Master degree from an accredited law school.
- 10 years of experience in M&A transactions preferably at alaw firm or inhouse legal department.
- Strong analytical drafting and negotiation skills.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
High level of integrity and ethical standards.
Specific Skills Required- Proficiency in legal research and writing.
- Strong understanding of corporate finance.
- Experience with crossborder transactions and international M&A.
- Ability to handle multiple projects and meet tight deadlines.
- Strong problemsolving skills and attention to detail.
- Proficiency in using legal technology and software tools.
- Ability to build and maintain strong client relationships.
