Production Engineer (Custom Millwork Displays &Fixtures)

Position Summary
This position is responsible for engineering and developing projects from conceptual ideas or architectural plans. Engineering will follow our internal manufacturing processes as well as outside vendors capabilities. We design engineer and manufacture in retail environments. (Groceries Convenience Stores Restaurants Retail shops ect.)
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
This position is primarily yet not exclusively responsible for the following:
- Interacting with clients and internal team members to identify and develop specific design requirements that align/support the overall design intent or objective
- Minimum 2 years experience with architectural millwork custom store fixtures retail fixtures and or custom commercial millwork.
- Engineering products that align with core business objectives and/or consistent with manufacturing capabilities. (Millwork Cabinets Metal Plastic Lighting Dcor)
- Ability to read and follow architectural specifications or conceptual renderings
- Ability to draw in 2D and 3D (AutoCAD Inventor SolidWorks)
- Create Shop drawings (Assembly Drawings Bill of materials Part Labels)
- Cut List and CNC programing for Router
- Update drawings based on changes (redlines)
- Providing support and direction (when required) to the shop floor
- Performing and completing any other duties as assigned

High School Diploma (bachelors degree Preferred) and 5 years experience in a related field required.
Strong computer skills in Microsoft Office Excel spreadsheets and CAD software. Strong communication interpersonal time management and organizational skills.
Ability to read and comprehend simple instructions short correspondence and memos. Ability to write simple correspondence. Ability to effectively present information to one on one and small group situations to customers clients managers and other employees in the organization.
Ability to count add subtract multiply and divide in all units of measure using whole numbers common fractions and decimals.
Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out detailed but uninvolved instructions from both written and oral communications. Ability to deal with problems involving a few concrete variables in standard situations.
