Job Description
What you will get to do:
- Oversee project submission for fabrication and installation
- Clarify project information and schedules
- Manage truck & equipment repair maintenance and staging
- Handle customer relations and general public relations
- Manage employee performance scheduling and education
- Oversee general maintenance including property repairs and improvements
- Monitor bid opportunities
- Review specifications procure quotes for nonstock items and communicate discrepancies
- Takeoff & Quote preparation
- Write and review proposals noting any specification conflicts or alternates.
- Provide contact information for queries and follow up on proposals.
- Review and contrast contract discrepancies
- Ensure accurate project information for fabrication & installation
- Review product inventory and current accounts
- Manage purchasing and order placement
- Troubleshoot and resolve procurement conflicts
What will make you successful:
- Proven experience in operations management preferably in the Glass and Glazing industry
- Strong leadership skills and ability to manage a diverse team
- Excellent communication and organizational abilities
- Strategic thinker with a keen eye for detail
- Proactive and able to manage multiple aspects of operations
- The ideal candidate will have a deep understanding of the Glass and Glazing industry
