Job Description

Claiborne Senior Living has an excellent opportunity for a Regional Director of Clinical Services with proven assisted living experience to join our growing Claiborne team.

This position will be home based in the Southeastern United States and will provide support to the companys communities in Georgia South Carolina and Louisiana.

Our Regional Director of Clinical Services works collaboratively with facility management teams and other regional and management company team members to provide direction oversight and support for our growing portfolio.

The Regional Director of Clinical Services serves as the subject matter expert for all aspects of health and wellness in an assigned area of our Senior Living portfolio. Not only will you provide clinical leadership guidance and direction for our team members you will also be responsible for developing monitoring and refining our standards best practices and delivery systems so we provide the best quality of life for our residents and an engaging rewarding environment for our team members.

In this role you will help create the health and wellness vision and execute the strategic plan for CSL and ensure that we are consistently executing our plan. You will develop and maintain our clinical systems key performance indicators training materials and standards and quality assurance programs.

You will be a resource to our teams and communities to ensure that we develop and maintain an engaging environment for our residents and a great place to work for our team members.

Responsibilities Include:

  • Set and monitor performance/outcome standards for all areas of the clinical functions across the company.
  • Communicate and monitor the implementation of current policies and procedures and participates in policy procedural and form development.
  • Regularly develop audit monitor and improve clinical systems including organization wide monitoring of appropriate key measures and developing followup tracking systems. Monitoring will include regular site visits to observe functions and to interact with employees residents and families.
  • Identify and spread best practices among clinical functions. Ensure practices are consistent with corporate direction.
  • Recruit orient and train clinical leaders. Provide interim coverage of clinical leadership at the sites as needed
  • Serve as the point person for functionrelated software. Oversee the selection of best software or aspects of technology to maximize the function balanced with available resources. Ensure all appropriate staff are trained in and using the software/technology.
  • Responsible for staying informed of industry and healthcare trends and standards applying new knowledge to meet the changing needs of residents.
  • Monitor changes in applicable rules/regulations and ensure that sites are aware of changes and that appropriate systems are in place to respond to changes.
  • Responsible for the development and implementation of training programs for team members in the healthcare environment meeting state and federal requirements as well as company policies and procedures.
  • Participate in State and Federal surveys and complaint investigations. Supports and follows up with communities in identifying trends and assists in the development of corrective action plans and troubleshooting resolutions to ensure regulatory compliance.
  • Prepare weekly reports to summarize clinical issues/concerns.
  • Consult with the team on new project development to advise in the areas of the physical plant staffing and other proforma elements.
  • Ensure proper education and development activities are in place to maintain improve and expand the education and function of our team members.
  • Performs other duties consistent as assigned

Qualifications:

  • Current valid Registered Nurse license with a bachelors degree in nursing; masters degree in business or nursing preferred
  • Exceptional interpersonal skills to include written and verbal communication
  • Fearless critical thinking skills to analyze and synthesize data from a variety of sources
  • Strong Microsoft Office skills and the ability to master new software applications
  • Willing to travel up to 75% of the time
