Coperion is now hiring a Receiving Stockroom associate to join our team in Sabetha KS.
The Receiving Stockroom Assocaite receives parts equipment and supplies and stores appropriately. Ensures accurate and timely delivery of parts and equipment to internal production facility.
Work Youll Do:
Receives parts equipment and supplies from delivery trucks unloads trucks ensures orders are accurate and inventories all merchandise.
Receives work orders verifies orders locates inventory pulls parts using forklift or other equipment attaches order request and ensures delivery to production.
Drives delivery truck picking up parts and merchandise from various locations as needed and delivering to the appropriate site.
Performs cycle counting to ensure accuracy of inventory supply.
Prepares inventory for offsite storage contacts facility and delivers materials.
Basic Qualifications:
High school diploma or equivalent
Ability to safely operate company vehicles and maintain a current drivers license.
Ability to lift up to 50 pounds on a regular basis.
Ability to work outside in all weather conditions including seasonally hot or cold temperatures and inclement weather.
Preferred Qualifications:
Prior Receiving/Stockroom experience preferred.
Knowledge of inventory control measures and material handling practices.
Skill in operating various office equipment including personal computer copy machine telephone fax machine calculator etc.
Skill in reading and basic mathematical computation.
Skill in operating a forklift and pallet jack.
Ability to pay close attention to detail handle multiple tasks and meet deadlines.
Ability to communicate with coworkers and various business contacts in a courteous and professional manner.
