What We Offer

The City and County of Denver offers a competitive salary commensurate with education and experience. The salary range for this position is $62186.00 $82397.00/year.

Location

The City and County of Denver supports a hybrid workplace model. Employees work where needed at a city site and/or in the community several days a week. In this position you can expect to work on site at least three days a week at the Republic Plaza at 370 17th Street Denver CO 80202. Employees must work within the state of Colorado on their offsite days.

What Youll Do

At the Department of Housing Stability (HOST) we are committed to support Denver residents as healthy housed and connected. We invest resources create policy and partner with various organizations to help keep residents in the homes that they already live in quickly resolve an experience of homelessness and connect residents to new housing opportunities. To support these efforts the department helps to:

As an Associate Accountant you will be responsible for process refunds reconcile data general ledger review journal vouchers audit records and provide customer service for internal and external stakeholders. HOST distributes over $150 million in contracts and other payments. You will report to the Accounting Supervisor.

Redeployment during Citywide Emergencies

City and County of Denver employees may be redeployed to work in other capacities in their own agencies or in other city agencies to support core functions of the city during a citywide emergency declared by the Mayor.
