Job Title: Corporate Accountant V TemptoPerm (Remote EST Preferred)
Location: Atlanta GA 30303
Pay: $55 per hour
Schedule: Fulltime MondayFriday (100% Remote)

Position Summary
The Corporate Accountant will support the integration of a recent acquisition into the parent companys accounting system. This role focuses on maintaining accurate financial records executing the monthend close process and supporting both GAAP and statutory reporting requirements.
Essential Responsibilities
Integrate the recent acquisitions accounting activity into the parent system
Maintain General Ledger mapping between seller and parent system
Load and automate Trial Balance imports from seller
Drive monthend General Ledger entries and account reconciliations
Coordinate monthly close with sellers and internal teams
Prepare and enter journal entries including GAAP and statutory adjustments
Calculate accruals and perform P&L analysis with variance explanations
Reconcile bank accounts and ensure accurate transaction coding
Conduct account analysis and propose adjusting entries as needed
Support annual audit by preparing requested schedules
Qualifications
Bachelors degree in Accounting or Business
10 years of relevant accounting experience
Strong understanding of GAAP and general ledger accounting
Experience working with networked multicompany accounting systems
Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel
Strong attention to detail communication skills and the ability to work independently
Ability to work East Coast hours
