Job Description
L.K. Jordan is seeking a Receiving Clerk near Splashtown. Essential duties and responsibilities will include pulling parts for shipments packaging product and obtaining weight and dimensions of product being shipped. Previous experience using Syteline to process shipments is a plus and must be able to utilize carrier websites to arrange for pickup and/or delivery of product. Also Responsible for maintaining accurate inventory and perform other duties as assigned.
Schedule is Mon Friday 6:00am 2:30pm.
Pay rate $14.00 $16.00 hourly DOE.
Job Knowledge Skills and Abilities:
Knowledge of computers and/or the ability to grasp computer proficiency quickly.
Knowledge of packaging standards and warehouse equipment.
Ability to count parts and record data accurately and in a timely manner.
Ability to communicate effectively both verbally and in writing.
Customer service focused.
Willingness to take on new responsibilities and develop new skills.
Ability to work within tight timeframes and deadlines which in turn necessitates both a sense of urgency and the ability to prioritize duties based on immediate needs.
Ability to work in a changing environment that is dynamic and has priorities that change often and quickly.
Ability to follow processes and safety guidelines accurately
Education and Experience:
High school diploma or its equivalent or documentation indicating the person is in the process of obtaining a diploma or its equivalent.
One or more years in a warehouse environment in shipping receiving or other major warehouse functions
Forklift experience
UPS WorldShip experience Preferred
