About the Position
Flora Food Group is seeking a proactive Internal Audit Risk and BCM Specialist to join our growing team. In this highvisibility role youll conduct audits assist with enterprise risk management (ERM) activities and help build our Business Continuity Management (BCM) framework.
Youll collaborate closely with colleagues to identify process improvements strengthen internal controls and ensure resilience against operational disruptions.
Key responsibilities include:
Audit and Risk Management:
- Conduct internal audit engagements to evaluate the effectiveness of controls and compliance with policies.
- Support the development and implementation of the Enterprise Risk Management framework.
- Enhance ERM monitoring and reporting by developing dashboards and key performance indicators.
- Identify risk trends conduct rootcause analyses and recommend corrective actions.
Business Continuity Management (BCM):
- Contribute to the development and maintenance of the BCM framework including risk assessments business impact analyses incident response and disaster recovery planning.
- Assist in ensuring the organisations readiness to respond effectively to disruptions.
Stakeholder and Process Engagement:
- Develop and maintain effective relationships across the business engaging confidently with senior leaders.
- Leverage industry best practices to inform ongoing programme improvement initiatives.
What Does It Take to Be Successful
We are looking for a talented professional with a strong background in internal audit risk management or BCM ideally gained within FMCG or similar sectors. You should have:
- Audit and Risk Experience: Minimum 2 years of relevant experience in internal audit risk management BCM or related control environments.
- Strong Communication Skills: Ability to communicate clearly resolve conflicts constructively and build productive relationships across all levels of the business.
- Adaptability and Organisation: Capable of independently prioritising assignments managing interruptions and consistently meeting deadlines in a dynamic environment.
- Analytical and Technical Skills: Advantageous but not essential to have experience in data analysis (e.g. Excel Python) and visualisation tools (e.g. Power BI Tableau).
