Position Overview:
The DCS Cloud Service includes a wide array of components including web services application servers and databases securely hosted in the AWS public cloud and compliant with PCIDSS. The Principal Cloud DevOps Engineer will play a pivotal role in ensuring uptime enhancing security designing implementing and maintaining our CI/CD pipelines infrastructure and application automation and improving deployment strategies.
Responsibilities:
Become a lead subject matter expert on the DCS cloud solution architecture security reliability performance scalability and troubleshooting
Lead the design implementation and optimization of CI/CD pipelines to facilitate automated testing deployment and monitoring of DCS applications and infrastructure.
Architect and maintain scalable secure and highly available cloud infrastructure in AWS utilizing infrastructure as code (IaC)
Develop and maintain provisioning configuration management and orchestration solutions using tools such as Terraform Ansible Jenkins and other similar technologies.
Ensure DCS platform is compliant with PCIDSS and any other relevant certifications. Work with Security teams to ensure security posture of platform is maintained and enhanced.
Collaborate with development and QA teams to ensure seamless integration of DevOps practices to support DCS operations
Evaluate recommend design and implement new AWS services to improve DCS platform.
Contribute leading when assigned the design and deployment ofDCSservice initiatives
Ultimately responsible for DCS application uptime reliability maintenance and upgrades
Build and enhance system monitoring and alerting contribute to service operations center focusing on proactively analyzing data within toolset to ensure uptime and quality of service
Perform product evaluations and make product recommendations
Implement system enhancements (software) and automation opportunities to improve performance and reliability of theDCSsolution
Manage activities with complete integrity and in accordance with the organizations policies systems practices and programs
Provide escalation assistance as required to resolve any technology stack related issues that may arise
Perform incident analysis and problem resolution
Perform data analysis to measure quality of service and proper scalability of the system
Working with Networking CoE team to create and implement network security measures
Coaching and mentoring junior engineering staff
Scope Epics User stories and support with weekly sprint planning
Dealing with escalated application support issues
Contribute to the operations support model to support requests and participate in a24x7 oncall support rotationand offhours maintenance windows as assigned.

Basic Qualifications:
Bachelors degree in computer science Software Engineering or equivalent combination of education and experience
7 years of experience in IT deployments
Extensive experience designing implementing and maintaining CI/CD pipelines infrastructure automation and deployment strategies.
Experience working with enterprise level microservices applications including deployment operation and maintenance of the applications in distributed environments.
Extensive handson experience with AWS containers DevOps tooling (Ansible Terraform Jenkins Octopus deploy etc.) databases networks security.
Where you will be: This hybrid role requires reporting to our Paris office three days a week as stated in the job description. At Entrust we have a distributed workforce.
