Job Description
Nanaimo Ladysmith Public Schools is looking for hardworking and detail oriented individuals to assist with the cleaning and care of our schools.School Caretakers help keep our buildings clean and presentable for staff students and patrons to enjoy. You will perform routine duties and minor building service tasks including floor care maintaining cleanliness in all school rooms and washrooms entrances and hallways.
Qualifications include up to grade 10 or high school graduation with some related experience in janitorial or custodial work or an equivalent combination of education training and experience.Wage: $27.72 per hour plus 10.8% in lieu of vacation and statutory holidays
Assignments: Casual work assignments are primarily afternoon shift.
