The Role

After revolutionising the financial services industry Afterpay is now taking on a new challenge changing the advertising industry. With the launch of a suite of advertising products including the Afterpay Media Network Afterpay is playing a leading role in commerce media in Australia and New Zealand.

Were looking for a dynamic and strategic B2B GTM Marketing Manager Afterpay Advertising to join our team. This role combines two essential functions: Sales Enablement empowering our sales team with the tools training and resources they need to succeed and Industry Partnerships and Events supporting the planning and execution of impactful events that drive pipeline brand awareness and customer engagement.

You will be the primary contact for GTM of the Afterpay Advertising product suite. The ideal candidate is equal parts strategist and doer someone who thrives at the intersection of sales marketing and operations and who brings creativity organisation and energy to every project. Based in Australia this role will be reporting into the GTM Director based in Sydney.

You Will

  • Communicate the Afterpay Advertising value proposition through the development of advertiserfocused messaging programmes which support sales efforts for agency and brand partners
  • Work with sales leaders to develop a deep understanding of the sales process and build narratives and sales content materials to effectively position the Afterpay Advertising proposition differentiate our offering and overcome objections
  • Create a suite of sales materials across a range of formats and for a range of channels. Partner with sales to align enablement programs to business objectives ensure consistent messaging and address gaps
  • Partner with data science insights and research teams to develop compelling insights and proof points that demonstrate the positive impact of Afterpay on merchant partners
  • Collaborate on the production of case studies and testimonials that highlight the success of Afterpay partners
  • Plan manage and deliver an integrated and exceptional events programme (conferences trade shows owned events) that supports our brands leadership position engagement with agency and brand advertiser partners and accelerates pipeline
  • Coordinate endtoend logistics including management of relationships with external agencies suppliers and partners for production of events and trade shows
  • Collaborate with internal stakeholders to ensure efficient delivery of event programme including event strategy preevent promotion postevent followup and lead handoff
  • Engage with industry partners (IAB media partners agency partners) to deliver on industry engagement objectives
  • Lead speaker program to identify and secure keynote and other speaking opportunities on behalf of the brand
  • Measure event success through KPIs like attendance engagement lead generation and influenced pipeline

You Have

  • Minimum of 7 years experience in marketing. 3 years in B2B marketing providing support to the sales and retention teams is preferable.
  • Experience developing strategic messaging platforms including brand positioning and value proposition frameworks.
  • Strong writing and storytelling skills with experience creating strong and customised RFP submissions and sales content
  • Significant experience and demonstrated success in partnerships marketing and events
  • Experience working with data and insights to craft sales narratives
  • Advertising industry experience is a bonus but not essential
