US CITIZENSHIP AND ACTIVE SECRET CLEARANCE IS REQUIRED
CGI Federal is currently seeking Cloud Developers with active Secret clearances to support a large project for a federal government client. This position can be filled in Clarksburg WV Washington DC Lafayette LA Knoxville TN or Huntsville AL.
Your future duties and responsibilities:
The Cloud Developer supports solution development with subject matter experts and engineers to build Cloud Solution Offerings focused on Software as a Service (SaaS) offering. The Cloud Developer will provide subject matter experience and expertise with the ability to clearly present concepts and services to help build innovative cloud solutions.
Collaborate with subject matter experts and engineers to build cloud solutions focused on SaaS offerings.
Design and implement core infrastructure systems to support innovative cloud solutions.
Define system landscapes identify gaps and deliver cloudbased solutions.
Work with technical teams and senior architects to finalize integration specifications.
Ensure compliance with DOJ security policies directives and guidance documents.
Implement security and privacy training for employees with access to PII.
Adhere to privacy and safeguarding requirements for PII including encryption and breach reporting.
Maintain the Apache Hadoop Ecosystem utilizing HBase MapReduce and Spark.
Manage ETL processes using Linux shell scripting Perl Python and Apache Airflow.
Utilize AWS services such as CloudWatch CloudTrail ELB EMR KMS SQS SNS and Systems Manager.
Support maintain and migrate JavaFX applications to modern cloudnative solutions.
Work in an Agile organization using Scrum Kanban Jira Confluence and SAFe.
Provide teamspecific training as needed.
Required qualifications to be successful in this role:
Bachelors degree in Information Technology or related discipline.
Minimum of 58 years experience as a Cloud Developer.
Knowledge of both AWS and Azure Cloud technologies.
(C#) NodejsReact JavaScript HTML CSS PostgreSQL Liquibase Elasticcsearch and Git.
Knowledge with Distributed Systems patterns such as Domain Driven Design (DDD) Command Query Responsibility Separation (CQRS) Event Sourcing and Service Oriented Architecture (SOA).
Experience with messaging patterns and messaging technologies such as RabbitMQ.
Thorough understanding of Cloud Computing: virtualization technologies Infrastructure as a Service Platform as a Service and Software as a Service Cloud delivery models and the current competitive landscape.
Thorough understanding of infrastructure (firewalls load balancers hypervisor storage monitoring security etc.) and have experience with orchestration to develop a cloud solution
Ability to clearly present concepts and Cloud Managed Services products to internal and external clients.
Understanding of Agile DevOps and Infrastructure as Code (IaC).
CompTIA Security Plus certification.
Active Secret clearance.

The determination of this range includes various factors not limited to skill set level experience relevant training and licensure and certifications. To support the ability to reward for meritbased performance CGI typically does not hire individuals at or near the top of the range for their role. Compensation decisions are dependent on the facts and circumstances of each case. A reasonable estimate of the current range for this role in the U.S. is $88200.00 $195200.00.
