Job Description
The Role
We are seeking a Senior Manager to join the SoFi Invest team. Youll work in a highly collaborative environment engaging closely with crossfunctional Product Design and Engineering teams. Youll also be involved in the entire product lifecyclefrom ideation through deployment with continuous improvement at every stage.
In this role you will play a key role in shaping the future of our banking products and services. We are focused on evolving our Investment system and providing an exceptional endtoend user experience. This position involves building and maturing memberfacing investment services to support new and existing products. Specifically you will be continuing to cultivate a strong frontend culture to help deliver a topoftheline investing experience for our members all while enabling our teams to grow learn and reach their own aspirations.

Key Responsibilities
- Lead one or multiple development teams through the full development life cycle
- Challenge the status quo embrace and foster innovation
- Disrupt the industry by building the banking platform of the future
- Grow the team understand what your team needs define how to find and assess candidates
- Define the growth plan for individuals on your team
- Hold the team accountable for delivery
- Shape and support the team culture with an emphasis on continual improvement learning and fun
- Generate ideas for new initiatives
- Take initiative and produce timely results in a fastpaced and sometimes ambiguous environment
- Facilitate the definition of project scope deliverables and goals.
Requirements
- A BS Degree or equivalent from a fully accredited college or university is preferred.
- As a bonus in a technical field
- 5 years of experience designing building and operating scalable missioncritical systems
- 4 years of managing teams in a modern frontend ecosystem (Web/Android/iOS)
- Experience hiring training motivating monitoring and coaching team members
- Willingness to roll up your sleeves collaborate with others and get stuff done
- Strong sense of responsibility; driving initiatives from inception to completion
- Ability to hold others accountable
- Experience with Agile SDLC methodologies
- A desire to learn
Nice to have
- Experience with the investing and investment systems
- Exposure to highly regulated environments
- Experience building systems in the Fintech space
- Experience with high volume low latency scalable systems
