Job Description
This position is responsible for moving parts and machines.
Essential/Key Functions:
Loads/Unloads incoming/outgoing Machines
Prepare and complete orders for delivery or pickup according to schedule (load crate pack wrap label and ship).
Daily use of overhead cranes to load and unload large inventory.
Inspect inventory for defects or damages and document any instances
Examine ingoing and outgoing shipments.
Organize warehouse and receiving space.
Receive unload and put away incoming inventory items appropriately.
Check verify and fill manufacturing needs.
Abide by all company safety and hygiene regulations.
Contribute ideas on ways to improve or optimize warehousing and receiving procedures.
Operates forklifts and heavy machinery needed to transport large items around the plant.
Updates management or supervisor on the status of inventory shipments and deliveries.
Performs other warehouse related duties as needed.
Promote good housekeeping (5S).

Minimum (Required) Qualifications:
35 years of relative experience in shipping/receiving or material handling along with Forklift experience is required.
Basic computer skills
Ability to work in a team environment or independently to perform duties with little supervision.
Ability to communicate with team members on all shifts and possess good organizational skills.
Preferred qualifications
Experience in material handling in a manufacturing setting is a plus
Crane or hoist operation experience is a plus
