This position is a mandatory reporter of suspect abuse neglect or exploitation of individuals over the of 60 and those with disabilities over the age of 18.
This position may be eligible for partial teleworkwithin the state of conditions will be provided by the supervisor and must adhere to state policy.
This position may be eligible for a statutory $1.00 an hour base pay increase effective July 1 2025.

The Montana Department of Public Health and Human Services (DPHHS) has a career opportunity within the Senior and Long Term Care Adult Protective Services.
This position provides supervision within a unit that works to protect adults who are at Risk for Abuse Neglect or Exploitation: (a) is 18 years of age or older whose ability to perform the life activities of daily living or to provide for his or her own care or protection is impaired due to incapacity mental emotional physical developmental disability brain damage or infirmities of aging; or (b) is admitted to any facility; or receiving services from home health hospice or home care agencies licensed or required to be licensed; or receiving services from an individual provider; or selfdirects his or her own care and receives services from a personal aide. This position reviews and/or assigns referrals for investigation; assists staff in making casework decisions to protect the health and welfare of the individual being served; monitors ongoing service plan for safety by staffing and/or review of written materials to ascertain the need for continued involvement or the need for additional voluntary or involuntary services; and provides for community and staff training and assists in statewide policy and program development.
