Job Description
We are seeking an exceptional Senior Product Manager Technical to join our Alexa AI Product team where you will be at the forefront of revolutionizing conversational AI. As part of the team responsible for Alexa you will lead the development of innovative products and technologies powered by Large Language Models (LLMs) and Generative AI. This role offers an unique opportunity to shape the future of AIdriven conversational experiences that millions of customers use daily.
You will collaborate with worldclass Scientists Engineers and crossfunctional teams to translate complex technical capabilities into delightful customer experiences. The position requires a blend of technical depth product intuition and strategic thinking to drive innovation in conversational AI.
Key job responsibilities
Drive product strategy and roadmap for key components of Alexas conversational AI platform ensuring alignment with business goals and customer needs
Partner with Science and Engineering teams to define and prioritize technical requirements for new AI features and capabilities
Lead the endtoend product development lifecycle from conception through launch including writing PRDs technical specifications and business requirements
Develop and track success metrics conducting data analysis to measure product performance and identify areas for improvement
Collaborate with UX teams to ensure optimal user experience across various Alexaenabled devices and surfaces
Build strong partnerships with stakeholders across Amazon including Science Engineering Design Business Development and Legal teams
Drive technical decisions that balance customer experience technical feasibility and business requirements
Identify and assess new opportunities for applying emerging AI technologies to enhance Alexas capabilities
About the team
Amazons AGI Conversational Assistant Services team builds the most capable conversational assistants.
Bachelors degree in computer science engineering analytics mathematics statistics IT or equivalent
7 years of product or program management product marketing business development or technology experience
Strong technical background and proven track record of delivering complex technical products at scale
Excellence in written and verbal communication with ability to translate technical concepts for various audiences
Strong analytical and problemsolving skills with datadriven decision making
Experience working with technical teams and managing complex stakeholder relationships
Experience with conversational AI or voicebased products
Strong technical understanding of ML/AI concepts particularly in NLP and LLMs
Track record of innovation and zerotoone product development

Our compensation reflects the cost of labor across several US geographic markets. The base pay for this position ranges from $136100/year in our lowest geographic market up to $235200/year in our highest geographic market. Pay is based on a number of factors including market location and may vary depending on jobrelated knowledge skills and experience. Amazon is a total compensation company. Dependent on the position offered equity signon payments and other forms of compensation may be provided as part of a total compensation package in addition to a full range of medical financial and/or other benefits.
