Davis Behavioral Health is seeking a parttime Dual Diagnosis Therapist (LCSW/CMHC/MFT) to work in the Davis County Receiving Center located in Layton Utah.
Program Description
The Davis County Receiving Center is a 2372 hour alternative to inpatient hospitalization or incarceration that specializes in shortterm crisis resolution. This facility provides observation screening and social detoxification for police dropoffs emergency department transfers and walkin crisis services. The primary purpose of the Receiving Center is to provide a short length of stay and a focus on stabilizing the crisis and returning a person to community supports.
The successful candidates will provide risk assessments evaluations safety plans treatment plans and recommendations for treatment. The successful candidate will be trained and able to complete ASAM dimension criteria as part of the evaluation process
The RC therapist will have experience working in a crisis setting be able to complete risk assessments safety plans and evaluations within a brief period of time and make clinical recommendations for continued care. The successful candidate will have experience and knowledge of completing and executing a pink sheet.
The successful candidate will work collaboratively with an interdisciplinary treatment team to include psychiatrists nurses recovery support specialists psych techs and case managers.
Schedule/Shifts
Coverage needs for the parttime/oncall clinician are outlined below:
12hour Day Shift
Saturday & Sunday
9 am 9 pm
The successful candidate is expected to be at the Receiving Center for the entire 12hour shift.
Classification
This position is classified as parttime nonexempt.
Compensation
Parttime
The parttime swing shift clinician will be compensated on a pershift basis that is calculated is calculated using a starting hourly rate of $36.30 per hour plus credit for years of fulllicensure experience and approved differential.
$495 to $567 per 12hour weekend 9am to 9pm (includes differential) shift based rate range based on years of fulllicensure experience.
Weekend Shift Differential Stipend
The successful candidate will also receive a $5.00 per hour weekend clinician stipend for all hours worked on Saturday and Sunday. This is included in the compensation information above.
Underlicensed Clinicians (CSW/ACMHC/AMFT)
The shift compensation for underlicensed clinicians is $282 per 8hour shift and $423 per 12hour shift.
Required Experience
Minimum Qualifications
Master of Social Work degree from an accredited university. Preference given to candidates licensed as a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) in Utah. This position may also be filled with a Clinical Mental Health Counselor (CMHC) Marriage & Family Therapist (MFT) or underfilling with a Certified Social Worker (CSW) or Associate Clinical Mental Health Counselor (ACMHC) who is nearing completion of full clinical licensure.
The selected candidate must successfully pass a preemployment criminal background check and drug screening. DBH will not hire individuals currently using illegal drugs or abusing alcohol; therefore making employment at DBH conditional upon successfully passing preemployment drug screening by providing a valid sample. Candidates who are offered employment are required to report for a drug screen at an Intermountain WorkMed location within 24 hours of being requested to do so by the DBH Human Resources Department.
Davis Behavioral Health works with Federal grants and must comply with the Federal drug laws including no use of medical marijuana.
Davis Behavioral Health utilizes an electronic medical record which requires proficiency in computerrelated skills.
