The Cloud Platform Engineering (CPE) team is responsible for the stability reliability and availability of the TCGplayer platform and ensuring robust software delivery of technology. The teams primary function is to increase the efficiency of the organization through welldesigned automation and infrastructure.

We are looking for an experienced Manager of Cloud Operations at TCGplayer to lead a team of Cloud Platform Engineers in a dynamic Agile environment. The ideal candidate will be responsible for identifying dependencies minimizing developer obstacles and enhancing automation to increase productivity. Experience in enabling software delivery within an AWS cloud environment is essential for this role as it will help our engineering teams deliver highquality software efficiently and predictably. What you will accomplish:

• Build out and lead the Cloud Operations offshore team focused on working closely with onshore Cloud Operations to deliver operational excellence.

• Act as a key point of contact for stakeholders providing updates on project status addressing concerns and managing expectations.

• Deliver applications to production and proactively seek out opportunities to improve efficiency and productivity.

• Ensure the Cloud Operations offshore team adheres to best practices coding standards quality standards and architectural guidelines fostering a culture of technical excellence and continuous improvement.

• Recruit onboard and mentor top engineering talent building a highperforming team capable of delivering a worldclass developer experience.

• Encourage a culture of continuous improvement by regularly soliciting stakeholder feedback and implementing iterative improvements.

• Stay up to date with industry trends and emerging technologies identifying opportunities for innovation and differentiation in the Cloud Platform offerings.

• Review and contribute to developing documentation tutorials and training resources to bring Cloud Operations resources up to speed.

What you will bring:

• 7 years of overall experience in software engineering DevOps or Cloud Platform roles with at least 5 years working with AWS.

• Experience with infrastructure as code (Terraform) container orchestration (Kubernetes) Public Cloud operations/management data security and compliance all phases of the SDLC

• Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines and related tools (e.g. Jenkins GitLab CI GitHub Actions Argo CD).

• Agile methodology including using common practices such as workflow management and tracking (Jira) and tracking resource usage.

• Prior experience in a lead role managing DevOps or Cloud Platform teams is preferred with a focus on experience administering public cloud infrastructure and systems and cloudnative technologies

• Demonstrated success in collaborating effectively across multiple departments to support the delivery of highprofile crossfunctional projects.

• Ability to lead and mentor globally distributed or offshore teams including managing performance and building a highengagement culture in a remote environment. Experience developing and maintaining runbooks SOPs technical documentation and onboarding materials to support scalable global operations.

• Stakeholder management across regions Experience with working closely with stakeholders in different regions (e.g. North America Europe) to align Cloud Operations strategies.

• Flexibility in working hours (at least 1 hour of overlap with 85 Eastern Time)

• Bachelors or Masters degree in Computer Science Information Technology or a related field from a recognized university.
