Role: Field Service Manager
Location: Toronto ON Canada

Your Impact
Adhere to and drive Health and Safety First culture within the team and across the organization.
To facilitate manage and grow the Field Service Department and provide high quality service to customers.
To arbitrate the allocation of resources required in the delivery of service.
To develop tools including the quality management system for service to be carried out effectively and efficiently.
To maintain and improve a progressive training scheme for core and supplementary knowledge and skills to cope with the latest Iris products technology and thirdparty tools.
To assist staff members to develop their career at Iris through objective and development plan setting and review.
Develop lead and execute growth plans for the department
Meet yearly KPIs for on time delivery of reports quality of service and revenue targets.
Skills & Experience
Education:
Required: Degree in Electrical Engineering from a recognized University. Lesser education but with demonstrated supervisory and leadership experience may also be acceptable.
Preferred: Corporate membership of professional engineering institutions business training (MBA or EMBA)
Experience:
Required: 10 years work experience which is gained in an operation maintenance contracting or service function in an electrical engineering related organization with at least 3 of which in a management or supervisory position.
Preferred: Design and operational knowledge of rotating machines and/or high voltage equipment would be a definite asset.
Communication:
Must have excellent verbal and written communication skills to convey detailed instructions to service personnel and clients. Must be capable of preparing detailed written reports and giving direction instruction and training to staff and clients on the application and installation of Iris products. Strong interpersonal skills are required to handle diverse staff.
Mental Demands:
Requires great attention to customer scheduling demands. Must be capable of learning and instructing new processes and equipment involving the latest condition monitoring measurement technologies.
Working Conditions:
Office setting with periods of working in an industrial plant environment. Occasional exposure to chemical electrical mechanical and radiation hazards.
