Club de Golf Hautes Plaines is Hiring: Superintendent in Training

We are currently seeking a Superintendent in Training to join our team at Club de Golf Hautes Plaines. This position is perfect for individuals passionate about golf course management and looking to develop their career alongside an energetic and dedicated team.
In this role you will act as an Assistant Superintendent supporting daily operations and course maintenance. You will work closely with the current Superintendent throughout the 2025 season and transition into the Superintendent role in 2026.
Key Responsibilities:
Assess and report on the daily condition of the golf course
Support and align with ClubLinks internal policies and management practices
Enforce ClubLinks Health & Safety and Golf Course Maintenance policy manuals
Take on management responsibilities in the Superintendents absence
Assist with staff training on machinery and enforce safety procedures
Help maintain buildings equipment and property to high standards
Support pesticide and fertilizer management in line with IPM practices
Troubleshoot and assist with irrigation system maintenance and repair
What Were Looking For:
A minimum of 2 years of formal education diploma or degree in turf management
Availability to work flexible hours as needed
A proactive organized and energetic approach to responsibilities
A valid Quebec Pesticides Licence
Leadership qualities and strong communication skills
Knowledge of irrigation systems and automated controls
