Centurion is proud to be the provider of comprehensive healthcare services to the Indiana Department of Correction.
We are currently seeking a perdiemQualified Medication Aideto join our team atPlainfield Correctional Facility locatedin Plainfield Indiana.
Pay Rate Range is $2022/hour depending on experience
The Qualified Medication Aide (QMA) (Indiana) works under the direction of a Registered Nurse (RN) and/or other medical staff and is responsible for assisting nurses by following written and/or oral instructions to administer medications and document drug dosages and times of administration. The QMA takes vital signs assists in examinations and treatments and assists patients with activities of daily living while monitoring patients to report changes in their conditions.
Qualifications
High school diploma or GED equivalent required
Graduation from a Qualified Medication Aide (QMA) training program required
QMA certification required
Must be appropriately and actively certified in CardioPulmonary Resuscitation (CPR)
One (1) year of experience in acute care longterm care emergency or correctional setting preferred
Ability to obtain a security clearance to include drug screen and criminal background check
