Customer Relations Admin

Join our Internal Customer Relations team as a Customer Relations Admin and help turn customer complaints into positive experiences. Were looking for a proactive and customerfocused individual to manage and resolve customer complaints with fairness and care.

This role is a 12month secondment and is open to internal applicants in Sydney or Melbourne. This role operates in a call centre environment managing emails and telephone calls along with creating complaint records within Customer Workbench. This role can create a pathway to becoming a Customer Relations Specialist.

What youll do

  • Accurately record and maintain customer information for complaint resolution
  • Respond professionally to customer concerns both verbally and in writing
  • Consistently meet quality audit standards
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with customers and internal stakeholders
  • Support leadership in setting goals deliverables and resource needs
  • Contribute to team goals through active participation and support for colleagues
  • Be a positive role model and engaged team member
  • Build strong mutually beneficial relationships with team members
  • Go beyond stakeholder expectations by offering flexible and innovative solutions

What youll bring

  • Dispute resolution negotiation or mediation studies desired
  • Minimum 12 months in an insurance role
  • Knowledge of Suncorp insurance products systems and processes
  • Knowledge of relevant compliance standards legislative requirements and industry codes
  • Comprehensive knowledge of complaints processes and procedures
  • Working knowledge of team standards and metrics centre benchmarks and company standards
  • Some understanding of business market and external environments
  • Occasionally required to work extra hours to meet deadlines and other tasks that may be required
