Make a Difference
This dualmodality job performs both Mammography breast and bone density imaging exams but also Ultrasound exams to create the images needed for diagnosis at the request of and for interpretation by a licensed practitioner.
Exceptional Skills and Qualifications
Provide optimal patient care remaining sensitive to the needs of patients through patient assessment and monitoring - Receive relay and document all verbal written and electronic orders in the patients medical record
- Demonstrate proper use and knowledge of all department equipment positioning devices patient care items and patient monitoring devices
- Associates degree in Radiology or completion of certification program in Radiography or Ultrasound
- Current ARDMS (OB or AB or RVT) Certification OR ARRT(RT)(S) or ARRT(RT)(VS) Registered OR Current CCI (RVS) Registered
- Radiologic Technologist by the State of Indiana and ARRT(R) Registry
- If not registered Radiology Student Permit by the State of Indiana and ARRT registry eligible. ARRT(R) registry and Radiologic Technologist License by the State of Indiana be obtained within six months)
- Certified Mammography (M)(ARRT) required within one year of hire
