Job Description
Position is mainly at Northwest Texas Georgia Street FED. Traveler will need to report at the main hospital initially for onboarding. They will rotate between two FED s and possible 2 other FED s that do not perform POC Lab. Traveler will perform: CT X-rays and Point of Care Lab.
12 hour shifts 3 shifts one week and 4 shifts the next week
7p-7a W-Th-F and every other Sat
On Call: required 4-5 days a month
At least 1 year CT experience
Competent in X-ray required
ARRT Certified required
Texas Medical Board (TMB) License required
POC Lab (We will train)
Operate Computed Tomography (CT) and radiographic equipment and processors analyzer body habitus to correctly adjust technical factors position the body correctly review physicians orders obtain pertinent clinical data to consistently produce high-quality radiographs and reduce unnecessary radiation to patients and self. Assists phyisicians during procedures including room preparation supplies contrast reactions and codes. Ability to schedule and complete exams and enter correct charge codes.
