DescriptionJob Purpose:
Incumbents in the customer service job family interact with customers and sales representatives to handle a variety of sales support functions including customer care order entry price quotes returns pricing credit correspondence and provided delivery information.
Job Responsibilities:
- May answer questions regarding products warranties and services.
- May ensure customer satisfaction and order compliance with related regulations contract standards processes policies and procedures.
- May process expedite and coordinate customer orders from pricing requests through completion. Prepare forms ensure compliance and perform specific activities and process particular to assigned application.
- May provide quality responses to delivery price commission and product inquires and requests.
- May coordinate internal questions concerns issues and processes with appropriate organization. Provide services where appropriate and develop partnerships to support customer satisfaction.
- May review contract/purchase orders to ensure that customers quality requirements are met.
- Act as an information source on customer order processing and/or service procedures.
- Maintain applicable reports records and systems (manual and computerized)
- Assist operations engineering and other departments and develop solid internal partnerships to aid our customers satisfaction.
- May support growth initiatives such as updating contacting perspective customers and maintaining visual management.
Knowledge Skills and Abilities Required:
- Solid understanding of customer service procedures practices policies and related regulations
- Excellent oral and written English communication skills
- Computer proficiency with MS Office programs and the internet
- A high degree of accuracy and attention to detail
